In deciding to set up a website showing my hobby endeavours in photography, I thought to also include a blog where I can discuss (in the written format) my photography adventures. Photography is a great hobby to get involved in and, with the number of mobile phones in the world today, any one can take a snap. However, there is something quite special about using a camera and peering through the lens to find the right subject to capture.

When film photography was the common option for people, you would just hope that the photograph you took would be visible when processed – and you would have to wait days to see the result. These days, digital cameras allow users to see their photographs instantaneously. Whichever photography option is used, by taking a photograph, individuals are capturing the world at a given place in time. What an opportunity we have!
